1 – MASTERLY. The Dutch in Milano

“Once a year, for one week, the extraordinary Palazzo Turati is showered with a high dose of Dutch design essence. Each individual presentation is an integral and invaluable part of the collettive conversation, which addresses a diversity of design topics. It carries all the way across the historic spaces of the Palazzo, from the rooftop loung bad, through the museum exhibition back down to the courtyard where it becomes clear that everything is connected.” Nicole Uniquile, Masterly founder & curator

Palazzo Turati was built between 1873 and 1876 on behalf of Count Francesco Turati. The engineer and architect Enrico Combi built and designed this wonderful Neo-Renaissance Palace, right in the heart of the city, just a few steps away from Milan Cathedral. Recently restored, the ‘Sale Nobili’ are among the most fascinating indoor spaces in Milan.

An interdisciplinary group of exhibitions of Dutch Design, Art, Craft, Fashion and Photography, as you jabe never seen them blended before.

2 – A Matter of Perception: Linking Minds

The 2017 edition of ‘A Matter of Perception’ will see Mosca Partners and DAMN° return to Palazzo Litta during Milan Design Week together again with some of the most interesting protagonists in international design.

One of the most awaited events in the Fuorisalone’s busy programme of happenings taking place in the 5VIE design district, is the exhibition at Palazzo Litta. The building itself is a fascinating example of Lombard Baroque architecture in the city and is an expression of the connection between Milanese culture and the French and English Enlightenment.

The third edition of the ‘A Matter of Perception’ exhibition will explore the theme of LINKING MINDS. Very often good ideas are generated by closed encounters and long lasting collaborations. The goal is to create an exhibition that lends itself to the creative process between two or more persons.

3 – Cartier.When the ordinary Becomes precious

Cartier has chosen to present at the Furniture Fair: “When the ordinary Becomes precious”, an extraordinary design exhibition where they will unveil the new creations of jewelry Juste a Clou and Ecrou de Cartier. A valuable reinterpretation of everyday tools will be the object of an event at the Garage San Remo, authentic Milanese institution.
The mechanical and formal collusion of two universes will be the focus of the exhibition “Cartier Precious Garage”, whose construction was entrusted to the Puerto Rican artist Desi Santiago. Based in New York and known for its scenic performances imbued with socio-cultural references related to the world of night and fashion, the artist likes to dramatize his every action.
The garage, located in the Fosse Ardeatine street and transformed by Cartier in an exceptional exhibition location, unites the ordinary and the precious. One raw casket  but full of glory, symbolized by a car suspended from the ceiling from which flows uninterruptedly a golden liquid that covers the floor.
La Maison staged the unusual link between mechanics and jewelery, craft and design.
